President
Charged with providing leadership and direction to the Committee, the President is responsible to ensure the Committee fulfils its responsibilities for the success to achieve the club’s agreed goals. |
Vice President
The Vice President is responsible to assist the President to fulfil his/her responsibilities for the success of the club. At times, the Vice President will need to work with the President to help him/her understand concerns and alternative points of view within the club. |
Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for the documentation and communication of the activities of the Committee. Amongst the Secretary’s tasks are to prepare agendas, prepare and distribute minutes, receive and disseminate correspondence to and from the club etc. |
Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for the financial supervision of the club, including the preparation of annual budgets, planning for the organisations financial future and monitoring the organisations revenue and expenditure. |
Corporate Relations Director
Responsible for seeking sponsorships from potential sponsors such as restaurants, student service centres and public associations in order to give support to the club. He/she is also responsible for promoting the Club to the public and beyond using all available methods of communication. |
Public Relations Director
Establish long-term partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with other MSOs. Researching and identification of sources of support, proactively seeking opportunities to generate new proposals based on corporate guidelines and interests, and by maintaining strong communication ties with other MSOs. |
Media and Marketing Director
Handles media issues on behalf of the club. He/she is the link between the club and the public as far as information and communication is concerned. He/she is responsible to publicise events via Facebook / Instagram / Website / Newsletter, creating posters and photograph events. Logistic Director
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency. Process procedures for logistics activities. |
Events Director
Makes arrangements for all club activities including dinner events, open houses, receptions or social mixers to attract new club members. His/her planning activities include developing event programs, including when and where to hold it. He/she oversees the club’s social activities and happenings. Welfare Director
Co-ordination and delivery of AUMSA on relevant member welfare issues. Representing AUMSA members in relation to student welfare. Dealing with individual requests from students. Keeping AUMSA members informed of all welfare matters. Providing welfare information through the publication of leaflets, posters and/or books. Reviewing and drafting welfare policy; and arrange membership sign up/card lost procedures. |
